Is Looking for a Service Coordinator

Do you want to be the person who changes people’s lives for the better? Enhancing lives, achieving dreams, and promoting independence are just a few of your job duties as a Service Coordinator. As a single point of entry into services you will help individuals with disabilities and their families gain access to needed medical, social, educational, and other community resources. Strong documentation, organizational, interpersonal, and computer skills required.

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Exemplifying the culture and mission of the agency
  • Planning supports
  • Linking individuals and families with services, supports, and resources
  • Monitoring and overseeing quality enhancement
  • Documenting and billing
  • Maintaining regular schedule and required meetings
  • Communicating frequently with individuals, parents, guardians and uses their input as part of the planning process
  • Performing other related work as assigned
  • Coordinating supports through the Rolla Regional Office and other outside agencies

Position Requirements:           

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Compassion and understanding for persons with developmental disabilities and a strong sense of Ethical Behavior
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast moving environment
  • Ability to work independently
